Biography

Samir Karaga has a successful history in soccer.

In Ex Yugoslavia, he played for Borac in Banja Luka. From there, he was chosen for the national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina ages U16-17.

After that he was chosen for Ex Yugoslavija's national team U16-17.

He played beach soccer for the national Canadian team at the Copacabana world cup qualification, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Samir played for CPSL all-star team in London, Ontario against Maritimo De Madeira.

He also played for Ottawa Wizards and Toronto Croatia in the Canadian Professional Soccer League. In addition, Samir played in the United States for Cleveland in the MISL.

He attended a lot of professional conventions including one in Sarajevo for his UEFA A licence. Samir has 30 years of experience and has coached numerous teams with great success.

During his coaching time at OSU, he won the OPDL cup with U15-16 boys as well as he did a very successful job on the female side. He is a very kind and hardworking man.

He is also full of knowledge and he builds a respectful relationship with his coworkers and his players. He knows how to transfer the knowledge from the coach to the kids.
